# App measurement

A native app may implement its own authorized product analytics and privacy controls. Userland's Platform Analytics measures the platform's acquisition, activation, billing and retention; it is not a bespoke analytics API for your app's visitors.

The current native interface exposes operation and deployment evidence and bounded runtime diagnostics. It does not promise the retired custom-runtime page/referrer analytics tool. Use `context.get` for actual available capabilities and observe your app's privacy obligations before adding a provider.
